for the first time we found out we would have in techniques and principles in language teaching in this course.

First sessionof the book were about talking about the principles and syllabus of the class and dividing students into groups in order to work together to teach each lesson. The next session has been started on the special technic,to cover each part by the groups of students. The first part which is an introduction has coveres by mrs.mohammadi.

Section 2 is about about Grammar-Translation method. presented by Younes and Mahdi Heidarnejad. GTM is about deductive teaching and the teacher is the main authority. unless in this method translation is important to the learners and they have to learn about the grammar of the target language.

section 3, presented by Ata and Sajad.it was about the Direct Method. this method is impressive in preparing students to speak into target language communicatively and it is an example of inductive teaching. the basic rule is that native language should not be used in the class,instead the teacher should not explain or translate.

next section presented by i don know, we all individually cover the unit Audio-Lingual Method, which is an oral-based technic. In this method target and native languages kept apart so that students' native language has the least interfere as little as possible with target language. Just like the Direct Method, the purpose of this method is to use target language to communicate. The Silent Way is the next approach which allows students think and get engaged in group works and develop which by the way teacher barely speaks.

In my opinion, this course would be very useful and educational.we have discussions in the class that involve some students and couse the active learning.what is necessery for this class,is a little of presentation attractiveness.Imean not only reading the slides front of students but using other technincs...
